Re-encounters

Most of you will be familiar with my way of bringing certain figures from my work together, trying to create a new situation, featured in the Combi-page. These usually originate when I have been going through some of my old stuff, and some things have jumped out as having a connected 'feel' to them, or a similar theme. But I also like to make a different type of combination. These combinations consist of two (or sometimes three) different drawings concerning one or more figures. In these cases, I'm not putting people together, but situations, featuring one and the same protagonist.

The reason why I'm doing that is that I think it makes the figure in question become more alive. They are not bound to one situation (pun intended), but they can find themselves in any other predicament, which hopefully gives you the feeling you can 'walk around them', observing them from all sides. Also, I hope to give the audience the feeling that they can see any figure they see in my drawings back in some other kind of trouble one day. You all may have some favorite, and hey, you never know: you might see her tomorrow! That's one of the ways in which I try to keep things interesting around here.
