Hello everyone! There is a new POW (Prisoners Of War) page in New, that is linked to the latest POW cover. I choose this format from time to time, because I hope it will give the impression of something real, therefor enhancing the effect of the art. Same thing with those POW covers, and other 'book covers', like the Embarrassment series. A short time ago, I saw a program on television about a Belgian artist, who did more or lest the same, all be it from a different point of view.
He had a particular love for the covers of detective covers from the forties and fifties, and he used those images in his paintings. That brought me back to my own childhood. I remembered rummaging through my parents books as a young boy, looking for that exact same material. Very often, those covers would show a woman in peril, being chased or tied up.

Greetings everyone. Now, there are two new drawings in New, one of which some of you may look at and go: "Wait a minute, that's not new!", although it has never been on the site before. That is because it's a page from my latest bondage album from 2014. Those drawings were never put on the site, but those of you who bought the book are familiar with it. As I had completed that particular piece however, I had the feeling I wasn't done with the situation. I have that more often: one of these days I'll get back to that. So, now, almost a year later, I chose to revisit the subject, and the result is the second drawing, in which our retired Prima Ballerina is in even more peril. And I think we might see more from her and her assailant in future.

'I know, I have said it many times before: as an artist, you've got to be prepared
to kill your darlings, and I am. But now, I'm facing a different challenge: grounding
your darlings! As I am working on the Juvenile Domination book, page after page
gets completed.... and my primary reaction is: 'Show it, Share it!' But alas, that
can not happen just yet. But soon, keep watching this space..!
Yes, we are confined to the Anthology universe, but the book we're getting out now is a really special one! Go check out Compact Stories 1, a selection from the short stories from the New section from the site, now available to everyone, complete with illustrations.
