Originality

Hello again! There is a new POW cover in New, this time. Coco is still working on the new Juvenile Domination book, the one with all new work: hopefully it will come out next month. Also, the second issue in the succesful Juno Hawke series is taking shape: we'll keep you posted!

A word from Coco now.
I have written about how nice it is when you see some of your ideas being brought to life. A few days ago now, I got an e-mail in which the directors of a popular erotic wrestling site, Ultimate Surrender, asked their members for their opinion.

Now, I had always flattered myself secretly with the idea that maybe, just maybe, I had sparked the idea in the first directors mind. I knew he was familiar with my work, and the fact that on this site te wrestling was mixed with sexual acts, gave me the idea that he could have been inspired by a few panels from my comic, The secret of the Dome.

Last night however, I got a reminder about how careful one should be with such assumptions. In my current comic about the Amazon Army, I presented a character who's mind was controlled in such a way, that she couldn't give information about a certain person. Every time she tried she would end up with her tongue sticking far out, being completely unintelligible.

I thought that was a great idea! But last night, I was checking out the Civil War comics from Marvel, on You Tube. I had never read that story, and as there's going to be a movie version of it coming out, I wanted to know what it's about. And what did I find near the end of the story? (Spoiler) A character named Osborn (I know: The Green Goblin), who would start to throw up every time he tried to speak about a certain subject.

Come to think of it, the same thing happened when I had dreamed up a character named Casanova, who could control the actions of every woman on the planet. A month later, the
Heroes series introduced the Puppet master. Sigh, it just goes to show that I'm far less original than I had hoped... But I won't give up; I still have a few ideas in me. Back to the drawing board!
