Hello again! First of all, we would like to remind you that we do not always add an editorial to every update, and we encourage you to visit the site also between the postings of the editorials. For instance, this week a new drawing, called Holster, was already entered in New, and we have updated the Free section with six new pieces. Today however we have also added a new POW cover to New.

In the Holster drawing (preliminary sketch to the right), I have done something that I do not do very often: depicting a woman in everyday pants. I draw models in skirts and dresses all of the time, but seldom wearing trousers. I used to do it more when I just started out, still heavy under the influence of Bob Bishop. I think I may do it a little more often from now on, because I'm rather satisfied with the result. I like to use everyday clothing in general, because I think it this contrast between the normal and the abnormal (the bondage) strengthens the effect of a drawing.
