The Secret of the Dome, Part one
05-19-2015
This time, we would like to draw your attention to a new book in our Shop, presenting an almost thirty year old, classic comic by Coco, called: The Secret of the Dome.
In those days, I was working for the dutch magazine Massad, among other things. I made a six page comic for them, roughly every two months. And in this case, we had agreed on doing another longer story, in stead of the six pages stand-alone's, which I also did frequently. And boy, did this become a long one!
The whole thing turned out to be over a hundred pages long, and it took me about three years to finish it! I think this is the longest one I've ever done in my 35 year long career. The whole premise of the story was that at some point in a far off world war three, a sexual neutron bomb would have wiped out the entire male population of a major city, which was situated in a kind of wasteland. (For those of you who don't remember: a neutron bomb was a weapon that destroyed humans, but not buildings. That is, if I am remembering it correctly: it has been so long). Anyway, in the city a large battle rages between up town and down town women, and at a certain point, they decide to stop fighting, and let their various differences be settled by a fight between two of their champions: the Dome fights. And that's where the story begins.

The whole story will be presented in four parts, the first one, The Secret of the Dome Part one out now in our Shop. Now, for those of you who were around and old enough in the late nineties, a reminder. And a first look for our younger fans:
Please keep in mind though that these examples were taken from the entire story: not all of them are to be found in this part 1.
Until next time,
