On Display
Julia had been reclining in the garden for a good seven minutes, as an all to familiar battle cry reached her from within the house.
"Mom, we're bored... will you come play a game with us?" The twins, again.
Julia sighed. She was so longing for the end of the summer holidays! Those two couldn't entertain themselves for more than twenty minutes at a time. And then she would have to think of something: it was exhausting.
But this time it seemed different as she found them in the living room. Frankly, they didn't seem bored at all, quite the opposite: their faces were beaming with excitement. Sue was standing with her hands behind her back, and Bobby held something in his hand, one of her scarfs, she thought. What was going on here?
