Ghost drawing
06-28-2016
Recently, I got a message from someone who had encountered one of my sketches somewhere on the net, and it went as follows: I saw a piece of your work on someone pages but wanted to find the original piece because it is stunning, I think my friend said it was about family bondage therapy?

Alysha was talking about this sketch.
Now, over the years I've had lots of comments about this page, and it seemed to be rather popular. Unfortunately, and this almost never happens, it got lost. I don't know how or why, but only the father figure was used in a finished drawing, and I can not find back the mother figure for the love of me.
Maybe I wasn't satisfied with her at the moment, maybe I completely erased her; I can't remember, but all that's left is this sketch in my computer. And so I decided to use that, and go from there. I printed the sketch out, and tried to line it in ink. This presented me with a few difficulties: the print was at a A4 format, where I always work twice as big in A3, and the printing paper wasn't really suited for my inking pens, so the lines tended to get over saturated. But all in all I was quite satisfied with the result, which is now an update in New. And now I'm thinking I may do this more often in future (with better printing paper). This will give me the opportunity to maybe in the future offer some of my original sketches for sale (if there's any interest; you never know:))
